Zenith Ladakh
The classical name in Tibetan: ལ་དྭགས, Wylie: La dwags, THL: la dak means the “land of high passes”. Ladak is its pronunciation in several Tibetan dialects. The English spelling Ladakh is derived from Persian: ladāx.
The region was previously known as Maryul (see page for etymology).
Medieval Islamic scholars called Ladakh the “Great Tibet” (derived from Turko-Arabic Ti-bat, meaning “highland”); Baltistan and other trans-Himalayan states in Kashmir’s vicinity were referred to as “Little Tibets”.
It has also been called Ma-Lo-Pho (by Hiuen Tsang) or Lal Bhumi. Names in the local language include Kanchapa (Land of snow) and Ripul (Country of mountains).

Details
Ladakh union territory covers some 22,800 square miles (59,000 square km) along the upper Indus River valley and is one of the highest regions of the world. Its natural features consist mainly of high plains and deep valleys.
After your arrival at Leh Airport/Railway Station, Our agent will escort you to the hotel and will help you with the check-in. You will be served with a scrumptious breakfast. Then you can go and roam around the area but we will recommend you to stay and take rest for the day because of the air of the area, our body needs to acclimatize. Help yourself to spent the first day and leave the rest on us
On the second day after breakfast, we will go for a drive to Sangam point where two rivers, Indus and Zanskar meet. Then we will visit Magnetic Hill which has the steepest road where you drive your car with the engines off. Then we will visit Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, a 12000ft high altitude and the place of Guru Nanak since 1517. On the way back, we will visit Ladakh Hall of Fame which is a place made in the memory of the Indian Army soldiers who lost their lives in war. After that, we will get back to the hotel and take the evening for the rest or you can wander around.

The 3rd day will take us to discover Pangong Lake. After the alluring breakfast, we will go to visit Pangong Lake which is famous for Bollywood movies. The lake has a turquoise color which makes it more attractive and the mountain surroundings look magical. The lake has looks that attract tourists and photographers the most. No life of any species lives inside the lake but a lot of Seagulls and Ducks can be seen around. We will explore the lake thoroughly and after lunch, we will head back to the hotel. Take the day rest of the day to visit nearby markets and come back at night. We will stay in the hotel overnight.
On the last day of our tour, we will check out from the hotel. Our agent will drop you to the airport/station. After reaching Leh Airport/Station, you will be served with tempting breakfast. Following the breakfast, you will be taken to boarding your dedicated seat and will depart for your destinations. Though a strenuous but a sophisticated journey you enjoyed.
